Raina and I had the honour of documenting a breathtaking wedding at Alice Beach, nestled along the serene Last Mountain Lake, just an hour's drive from Regina, Saskatchewan. The picturesque setting served as the perfect backdrop for a celebration of love.
The ceremony unfolded at a stunning cabin perched above the glistening lake, where a beautifully crafted structure atop the boathouse provided an intimate space for the couple to exchange vows amidst their closest family and friends. With the azure waters below and the expansive sky above, it was a scene straight out of a fairytale.
Following the heartfelt ceremony, the bridal party ventured down to the sandy shores below, making for convenient yet stunning photo opportunities against the backdrop of the tranquil lake.
Our photography journey continued as we ventured to an enchanting canola field, ablaze with vibrant yellow blooms, providing a striking contrast against the blue sky. The couple's love bloomed amidst nature's canvas, creating timeless moments frozen in time.
As the evening unfolded, the celebration moved to a large tent adorned with meticulous decorations. What caught our attention was their personalized touch – their own crafted beer, a reflection of their unique style and personality. If you knew us personally, you'd know that Raina and I are also craft beer lovers!
The night came alive with the sounds of laughter and music, as a live band serenaded the newlyweds and their guests, creating an atmosphere filled with joy and romance. It was a night to remember, where love, laughter, and nature intertwined to create unforgettable memories.
This wedding wasn't just about photographs; it was about immortalizing moments of love, joy, and natural beauty. As photographers, we are grateful to have been part of such a magical celebration, where every moment was as enchanting as the setting itself.
